Understanding Your Cancellation Refund
When you cancel your policy, you will never be charged a penalty or fee simply for canceling.
If you cancel your policy for any reason before it expires - you will receive a prorated refund for any unused premium.
Refunds will be issued to the payment method used for the payment on this policy.
This should appear on the statement in 5 - 10 business days.
At this time, we do not issue check refunds.
Factors That May Affect Your Refund
While we don't charge any fees or penalties to cancel your policy, any outstanding service fees will be deducted from your refund.
These aren't cancellation penalties; they cover the costs of maintaining your account and providing you with ongoing access to important services, even after cancellation.
If your refund is less than the outstanding fees, you will be charged the difference.
Before you finalize your cancellation, you'll see a full breakdown of any charges and refunds so there are no surprises.
