You can change the business name or your DBA (doing business as) on your policy directly through your online account or mobile app.
To update your business name through your mobile app:
1. Log in to your mobile app.
2. From the main menu, select "My business."
3. Select the blue pencil icon next to "Business Details" and follow the prompts.
4. If your business activities are also changing you will select the blue pencil icon next to "Activities" and follow the prompts.
To update your business name through your online account:
1. Log in to your NEXT account.
2. Go to the "Account" tab in the menu and select "My business."
3. Select the blue pencil icon next to "Business Details" and follow the prompts.
4. If your business activities are also changing you will select the blue pencil icon next to "Activities" and follow the prompts.
Once the business name or activity has been successfully changed, you will receive an email with the change endorsement and an updated proof of insurance.
