Yes, you can modify and add certain special language to your certificate of insurance in your NEXT customer account.
To modify and update the description of operations (DoO) on your certificate:
1. Log in (https://nextinsurance.page.link/BYSp) to your NEXT customer account.
2. Go to the "Certificate" tab in the menu.
3. Select “Create Custom Certificate”.
- If you want to create the certificate manually select the "Create manually" option.
- If you have a sample of the type of certificate you need you can select the "Upload a sample certificate" option for us to review for you!
4. Enter your certificate holder or additional insured’s name and address. Then click the "Next" button.
5. Select any special language you need. Select any notices or permissions you’d like this certificate holder to have. Answer any additional questions that may pop up. Click “Next.”
- By adding these items, the Description of Operations (DoO) on the certificate is automatically updated to reflect the special language selected.
6. Review and confirm the certificate details by clicking "Submit".
7. Review & confirm. If everything looks good, click “Create custom certificate” and view your live certificate.
The special language, endorsement or notification will be emailed directly to you and your certificate will be saved in your customer account. To access it any time, go to the “Proof” tab and select “Custom Certificates.”
